I WILL STICK TO YOU

Let the world murmur as we walk,
Let them paint their stares with chalk.
Let the streets sneer their scorn,
Let’s make their scorn our fun.
Whatever the tide may be,
I’ll stick to you till the end of time.

Let the wind spiral its storms,
Let the trees lose their forms,
Let earthquake quake the earth.
I swear, all I’ve got is to stick to you.
I will stick to you till the end of time.

Even when the mountains rise like guards,
I will make it a shadow of rags.
Let rocks be thorns across our path
’Tis this one thing I’ve got to stick.
I’ll stick to you till the end of time.

You may fall while I break too,
You may fail countless times.
Even when your feet may fail you,
Even when the stars stop their shine,
And silence hovers our breaths
Still, I will stick to you.
I will stick to you till the end of time.

Let the river overflow its bank,
We drown or we drain.
Whether water takes or leaves,
I’ll let my lungs breathe their last for you.
I’ll let my bones lean where you fall.
Let death wait at the door
Still, I will stick to you.
I will stick to you till the end of time.

Like life gave me one duty:
To lean on your shoulder,
To stick beside your ashes.
Whatever life has to offer,
I swear, I will stick to you.
I will stick to you till the end of time.
