THE STRENGTH OF A WOMAN

Powerful image of a resilient woman standing strong amidst shadows, symbolizing the strength, courage, and nurturing nature of women.

The strength of a woman

The world whispers her worth in shadows,

In shadows where her face is veiled,

Her voice is often bullied in the cage of a narrowed dream.

She yearned to see the sun.

In her clime, culture is friendless,

And religion smiles at her like a smirking smoke,

Yet she pulled up strong.

From childhood, her hands were burdened for the man,

Her gender becomes her only crime.

She tends her baby and the other.

How can the bearer of kings be perceived as minor?

Her place is limited in the palace;

This too, she must fight.

Each month, her body wages wars within itself.

Nature has made her body fragile;

She carries the universe in her womb.

Her womb shifts her form,

Her womb makes her a stranger to herself.

Again, she has to fight through it,

To live or watch herself die on the stretcher.

She is a warrior.

She carries the ancient burden of motherhood,

The labor of birth, the joy and terror entwined,

The weight of a life is left for her to sustain.

Oh, woman, you hold the universe within your embrace,

Your body the soil from which generations bloom.

She cares for the frail and him,

Her hands are a balm for their wounds,

Her shoulders a fortress that bears unyielding storms.

Why does this world lay its endless demands on her?

Yet she endures,

She rises,

She fights through defeat and despair.

Woman! Remember these battles you survived,

Each one a scar you wear,

You wear a testament of wisdom.

You fight through flows and the dry era.

Call yourself a warrior

And not the inferior.

Woman!

Your strength is your power,

If you could bear all these,

Why would you now break under a veil?

Your beauty touches the earth with fire,

Why would you cover it in the dark?

Your voice is that of hope;

Why let it be silenced?

Woman! Lift your head high,

Keep your head high to feel the power in your bones,

For there is no creature alive with such a fierce grace as yours.

Rise, claim your place in the sands of time,

For you too hold the spark of brilliance.

Wakeup, oh! woman

You are strength beyond measure,

Not just a survivor but a beacon,

Not just a warrior but a universe unfolding.

For who can describe thy strength,

Oh, woman.

The word warrior , is not just given to someone, it is a title that is earned. Resilient, live or die battles fought and unyielding storms here and there, despite the facts that nature calls her fragile, signifies THE STRENGTH OF A WOMAN
