I SURRENDER, WE’RE ALL SINNERS

A lone figure kneels in the snow at night, head bowed, hands open in surrender. Mist swirls around them, with dim moonlight casting a somber glow.

Don’t let me drift like a ghost in the wind,
These nights are storms that howl my name.
Madness once caged me

Now it sets me free,
I recall the war I waged with you,
A battle to bend and break you.

I fought to hold your fractured light,
Tried to cradle in your sins
But this snow devours me whole,
I’ve watched you shatter into every part of me
Ohhh! I surrender.

I surrender to your perfect crimes,
To the hands that sculpted my ruin.
Oh, all I want now is to wade in your sins,
Your soul has melted into mine
Ohhh, I surrender.

I would trade my wings for your chains,
Let this binding be our fate.
I’m coming home, through dusk and fire,
I’m returning by every step.
Hope I haven’t outrun time.

Hope I’m not late now?

Oh, let me be the hands that mend,
I will stitch the past with gold.
Spring will rise from all we buried,
I can’t loosen my grip on your perfect heart
I can’t,

 I won’t let go anymore.

This poem expresses the theme of emotional surrender, internal turmoil and intense connection with someone one.
It’s deep!
More ink to your pain
